About the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner Certification

1. Who provides the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner certifications?

All PRINCE2 certifications are issued by AXELOS in association with PeopleCert. The certificate is issued once you pass the requisite examination.

2. Can I get certified without taking the course?

It is not mandatory to take the course to appear for an exam to get certified. You can get certified if you can pass the respective exams.

It is still recommended that you do the course with an Accredited Training Organization (ATO) like KnowledgeHut. This will help you understand all the relevant concepts and help you understand the exam format and how to clear it.

3. What is the process to become PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner Certified?

Typically, a professional who wants to get certified in PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner would sign up for a course that covers the topics for these exams with an accredited training organization.

Once they complete the training then they will need to prepare for the two examinations. Once they clear the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam, you will be able to attempt the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Exam.

4. What are the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner exam patterns and passing scores?

Both PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam follow different formats. PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam is a closed book exam, that is one hour long and has 50 multiple choice questions. To pass this exam, the candidate must score at least 55%.

Passing the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam or PRINCE2 Foundation exam is a prerequisite for writing the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Exam.

The PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Exam is a two-and-a-half-hour exam (150 minutes) that is open book. You need to score a minimum of 60% to pass this exam. This exam too contains 50 questions that are objective.

5. Who conducts the exam?

All PRINCE2 exams are conducted by PeopleCert. KnowledgeHut is an ATO of PeopleCert.
