Step 3: Take the Exam
A multiple-choice exam with 40 questions. The exam duration will be 60 minutes. It will be an open book, un-proctored, web-based exam.
Step 4: Pass the Test
Score a minimum of 65% to pass the test.
Step 5: Get Certified
Successfully passing the test will make you eligible for the certification. You will receive your certificate and digital badge by email with your confirmed exam results shortly after completing the exam.
Yes, you will receive a course completion certificate from KnowledgeHut on successfully completing the course.
You will have to attend a 16-hour (2-day) DevOps Foundation training under certified trainers. Following the training, you can attempt the exam. An exam voucher will be ordered for you along with the courseware for the program. You will receive the access keys for both from DevOps Institute sent through CustomerService@LogicalOperations.com or CustomerService@DevOpsInstitute.com.

DevOps Foundation is the entry-level certification from DevOps Institute. The examination is an open-book exam and is easy to pass. With our comprehensive course and your diligent approach toward acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills, you will be well positioned to pass the exam on your first attempt.
The DevOps Foundation certification exam will be in a multiple-choice format. There would be 40 questions in it, and you will have to score 65% to pass. The duration of the exam would be 60 minutes. It will be an open book exam.
As there’s a time limit of 60 minutes, you will not be permitted to pause the test. In case you accidentally close the window, you can reopen it immediately. In case you face any issues and lose access to the test for an extended time, please inform DevOps Institute via email: CustomerService@DevOpsInstitute.com.
If you fail the DevOps test, you can retake the exam as many times as you want. You may attempt any number of times, but charges will be applicable each time.

The conventional in-person DevOps Foundation training was earlier delivered as a 16-hour, 2-day training course. The online training being offered by DevOps Institute through KnowledgeHut, a Premier Partner of DevOps, now for about 14 hours.
The online course is divided into several classes of shorter hours, unlike the in-person class that has 2 session, each 7 to 8 hours long.

No, you will not yet be able to join the training through phone or tab. Please be prepared to join the training on your laptop or desktop.
If you get disconnected during the training, you will have the option to re-join within about half an hour subject to accreditation body guidelines and the instructor’s preference.

Yes, your DevOps Foundation course material will be provided in advance. You will receive an email with a link to set your password on PRIMS—KnowledgeHut’s immersive learning experience platform—a few days in advance of the scheduled course. Once you log in to PRISM, you’ll have access to the study plan and all the course material.
We currently use the Zoom platform for video conferencing and will soon be adding more integrations with Webex and Microsoft Teams. However, all sessions and recordings will be available right from within PRISM. You will not have to wait for any notifications or links or install any additional software.
You will receive a registration link from PRISM via e-mail. Click on the provided link to set your password. Get ready to experience a unique immersive learning journey.
Yes, there are other participants who actively participate in the class. They remotely attend online training from office, home, or any place of their choosing.

If you miss a class, you can access the class recordings from PRISM at any time. At the beginning of every session, there will also be a 10-12-minute recapitulation of the previous class.
