Bernie Doyle is a Certified Ethereum Blockchain Developer and owner of Refine Labs, a blockchainadvisory, architecture and development company, and he is currently president of the GovernmentBlockchain Association - Toronto chapter. With nearly 10 years of software development experience, Mr.Doyle is also dedicated in delivering advanced educational presentations on ground-breaking softwareand cloud-based solutions, blockchain, distributed ledger technology and smart contracts for a numberof sectors, including fintech and healthcare. Mr. Doyle is a thought leader in the field of blockchain andhe is focused on being a leader in connecting and educating government, organizations, businesses andindividuals about blockchain, and he is focused on developing novel uses of blockchain to a variety of sectors.

I am a lawyer with software development experience. I am also the CEO & Co-Founder of a law tech venture presently in stealth mode. My law practice is dedicated to helping tech companies, tech-sector talent, and other commercial parties with blockchain, cryptocurrency, and IT issues. 

I was called to the Bars of Ontario, New York State and Massachusetts in 2013. 
Prior to founding Smartblock Law Professional Corporation, I worked for five years in Toronto as a litigator and corporate counsel. My clients were insurance companies and condominium corporations.
My corporate counsel experience includes issues regarding regulatory compliance, governance, high-value contracts, and contentious corporation meetings (one of which involved the police and ambulance).

I also have trial, application, and motion experience in the Superior Court, as well as experience preparing materials for appeal before the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, I served for one year as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal (2011-2012), where I assisted appellate court judges with numerous precedent-setting decisions.
I earned my Juris Doctor from Queen's University (2010), and went on to complete a Master of Laws in International Business Law from University College London (2011).
My work has been published in the Journal of International Arbitration, and the Journal of International Banking Law & Regulation. The former publication was also translated into Thai by the Thai Arbitration Institute.

Marek has been following Blockchain for a some time, now and he is co-founder of the Blockchain Lab at the Schulich School of Business, at York University, Toronto, Canada.

More recently, he is offering consulting services around Blockchain, Big Data, and Internet of Things (IoT). Data Scientists are convinced he do Data Science, but more precisely, his research relates to complex social systems using simulation technologies in combination with Internet of Things (IoT) distributed crowdsourcing systems.

Marek goal is to design scaleable and accessible tools for Data Fusion and Analysis aided by technologies such as Blockchain and Machine Learning. In the present environment this requires straddling the line between not-for-profit or academic research and entrepreneurship.

Mohamed is a Blockchain enthusiast who is passionate about Blockchain technology and committed to help growing the Blockchain ecosystem in Canada and around the world.

He has over 11 years experience in finance, marketing, education, hospitality, product design, big data analytics and strategy with well renowned organisations. He is a strong critical thinker and has a passion for innovation.

Mohamed is very active in the Blockchain space. He leads the strategic initiatives at The BlockchainHub and also led the C-Lab incubation program, the first peer-to-peer community based incubation program for Blockchain startups. He was also a mentor at the Blockchain for Social Impact Hackathon, the first international decentralized impact accelerator, where teams around the world solved challenges around financial inclusion, supply chain, identity & vulnerable populations and energy & environment. His research is keenly focused on the intersection of Blockchain with other technologies, what he likes to call "The Autonomous Revolution". This has lead him to be the program manager of the Certification IoT course at The BlockchainHub – York University.

He is a member of the Internet Society Blockchain Special Interest group and had the opportunity to co-author a white paper on over-the-top services policy and how Blockchain technology can help solve problems such as worldwide broadband connectivity, copyright infringement and decentralised partnership models. He presented the white paper at the International Telecommunication Union meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.

Furthermore, Mohamed is a "Durland Innovation Award" recipient for a Blockchain use case; The use case was described as "A cutting edge security technology to protect artists from forgeries and theft.” He is also holder of the "Beta Gamma Sigma International Award”

Finally, Mohamed is fluently trilingual and holds a Bachelor degree in Banking and Insurance and two Masters degrees, the first in Business Administration and Engineering Logistics, the second in Technology, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is a Certified Ethereum developer and IBM Blockchain Certified.

• many years in business strategy & BPM consulting.

Paul Liu is the chair and President of Fast Access Blockchain Foundation. Paul is a leading IT expert with over 20 years experience in developing financial, supply-chain applications. He was the first general manager of China Unionpay Financial Network where he led and developed a series of large scale applications.

At the inception of this project, Paul led a developing team that aimed to create a decentralized supply-chain application by 2014. However, he gradually realized the scalability problem of public blockchain networks. A scalable foundation blockchain is the base for applications to work well, so Paul and his team transitioned to researching blockchain scalability problems.

After diving deeply into blockchain technologies they summarized  the principles and philosophies needed to overcome the scalability problem. His team designed the FAB model  to achieve those principles and invented important groundbreaking technologies including KanBan, SCAR and CCUA. Those unique technologies together make FAB the first blockchain that meets real business and commercial uses.

Paul was born and raised in China and has lived in Canada for 18 years developing his network on an international scale.
 

Richard experience in data mining/data science and predictive analytics dates back to 1983 when he received an MBA from Concordia University in Finance and Statistics.

This initial experience at organizations such as Reader’s Digest and American Express have allowed him to acquire vast expertise and experience in the application of predictive modelling technology for all marketing as well as credit risk initiatives. This experience had allowed him to apply this knowledge in most industry sectors with particular emphasis in financial services, insurance, telecommunications, and loyalty.

He has been fortunate to share this knowledge and expertise into international speaking assignments and workshop seminars in the U.S., England, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia as well as Canada.

Richard has written articles which have appeared in numerous Canadian publications such as Direct Marketing News, Strategy Magazine,etc as well as teaching applied statistics,data mining/data science and database marketing at a variety of institutions across Canada which include University of Toronto, George Brown College,Seneca College, and Centennial College. He was Chair at the CMA’s(Canadian Marketing Association) Customer Insight and Analytics Committee and sat on the CMA’s Board of Directors from 2009-2012. He has chaired numerous full day conferences on behalf of the CMA(the 2000 Database and Technology Seminar as well as the 2002 Database and Technology Seminar and the first-ever Customer Profitability Conference in 2005. He has also most recently chaired the Predictive Analytics World conferences in both 2013 and 2014 in Toronto.

As well, he has co-authored white papers on the following topics: ‘Best Practices in Data Mining’ as well as ‘Customer Profitability: The State of Evolution among Canadian Companies’. In Oct. of 2014, my new book on “Data Mining for Managers-How to use Data(Big and Small) to Solve Business Problems” was published by Palgrave Macmillan
